6 Week Challenge

Hey All!

If you’ve read E’s latest email you know we’re a growing 26 family. It’s always fun to have some new energy at the gym and we thought it’d be a good time to clean up our diet as well. We can’t let the newbies have all the fun! For those of you who know me well, you know I lean pretty paleo. But for some, a whole30 is too daunting, so let’s just tidy things up. And if I have already lost you by throwing out words like “paleo” and “whole30”, that’s OK! If you need a little hand-holding, this challenge is for you! If you just need a kick in the pants, this challenge is for you! If your diet is on point, but you’re feeling lonely, this challenge is for you!

Starting Monday June 6th, we are going to kick off a 6 week challenge and remove gluten, dairy and sugar for a full 2 weeks. Weeks 1 & 2 will be strict without cheats or slip ups. We will take note of how we are sleeping, feeling, and recovering from workouts. Week 3 you can choose to reintroduce one of the removed groups. Week 4 you can choose to reintroduce another. Weeks 5 & 6 will be focused on maintaining. The later weeks will allow for some off-road foods, but we will continue to focus on making positive choices for the great majority of our meals.

I will be providing support to you all via Facebook or conversations at the gym. We will share recipes, grocery store finds and overall good vibes. You have the weekend to get yo head right and grocery shop.
